Learn To Shag Dance
Carolina Shag: Beginners 1
Learn to shag dance! The shag is the state dance of both North Carolina and South Carolina. Now you can learn to shag from two Virgina Shag Hall of Famers, John and Janice Gilstrap, along with members of the Danville Shag Club. You do not need a partner to learn the dance; Shag Club members will help as partners when needed. We will begin beginner shag classes I. September 9th through October 21at Ballou Park Center upstairs 6 weeks an $35 is fee for all. 6 to 7 pm.

Carolina Shag: Beginners 11
This class will help you learn more advanced moves to shag dance, including turns and mirror steps taught from two Virginia Shag Hall of Famers, John and Janice Gilstrap, along with members of the Danville Shag Club. You do not need a partner. This class is recommended for those who have completed a Beginner 1 session. Beginners II shag classes will begin. October 29 through December 2nd 6 -7pm. $ 35.00 for these lessons too. Call 434-799-5216.
