DSC formed in 1991. The purpose of our club is to bring people together with a mutual interest in dancing, socializing, developing friendships, and promoting shag music.

Danville Shag Club donates their time and money to provide funds or volunteer at various organizations within the community.
In August 2022, The Danville Shag Club gave a Shag Dance exhibition to the Brookdale Assisted Living group. Such a pleasure to give time to our community. We receive such a blessing giving of our time.
